Governmental

C.J. Brown Energy’s comprehensive energy engineering and commissioning services help reduce the cost of government, support the development of long-term capital budget strategies, and assist in the fulfillment of legislative requirements for reductions in energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. We work with municipalities, counties and state agencies to evaluate current building energy usage, identify ways energy use and cost can be reduced, implement cost effective conservation measures, and implement directives for LEED certification and applied sustainable practices.

We are very familiar with the operating requirements of all types of government facilities including administration buildings, courthouses, correctional facilities, public safety facilities, libraries, museums, recreational facilities, wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations. A primary focus is to identify, obtain and manage grants and other funding sources to offset and/or buy down the cost of energy conservation project planning and implementation.
