Moog Corporate Headquarters Energy Modeling
C.J. Brown Energy provided building energy modeling services for Moog’s two-story, 70,000 sf, $13 million new corporate headquarters. The purpose for the modeling was to confirm that the proposed design will comply with the ASHRAE 90.1.2007 Energy Cost Budget Method for the proposed 55% glazing.
Building energy simulation models were prepared for the Energy Cost Budget Building (Baseline Building) and Design Energy Cost Building (Proposed Building) based on the designs and information provided by the design team. The results from these simulation models showed that the proposed building design is in compliance.
