C.J. Brown Energy has provided commissioning services for numerous projects for the Lancaster School District.
Hillview Elementary School
In 2017, C.J. Brown Energy provided commissioning services at Hillview Elementary School, which serves grades K-3. The renovations were completed as part of the $49.6 million district-wide 2015 Capital Improvement Project.
Our scope of work includes unit ventilators, energy recovery ventilation unit, cabinet unit heaters, ductless split system air conditioning units, convectors, supply and exhaust fans, pumps, temperature control system, and modular dimming lighting controls. Commissioning services were provided from construction through warranty phases to meet the requirements of Section C408 of the 2016 New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code (2015 IECC as modified by the 2016 New York State Supplement).
North Gym Renovation Phase 6C
In 2018, our firm provided commissioning services for the $4.4 million North Gym Renovation Phase 6C project involving construction of a new north entrance for athletics, new Java Gym, and new girls locker rooms, to include all new HVAC systems. The renovations were completed as part of the $49.6 million district-wide 2015 Capital Improvement Project.
Our scope of work included Air cooled condensing units, air handling unit, cabinet unit heaters, convectors, energy recovery ventilator, exhaust fans, fan coil unit, fin tube radiation, hot water coils, penthouse and louvers, packaged rooftop units, pumps, split A/C systems, unit heaters, lighting system functional testing report review, TAB, and temperature controls. Commissioning were provided for construction through warranty to meet the requirements of Section C408 of the 2016 New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code (2015 IECC as modified by the 2016 New York State Supplement).
Bus Garage
C.J. Brown Energy provided commissioning services for the new $10.4 million, 23,382 sf Walden Avenue Bus Garage. The project included nine bays, bus dispatch, offices, locker rooms, break room, and storage areas. The project was part of the $49.6 million district-wide 2015 Capital Improvement Project.
Commissioning was provided for construction through warranty to meet the requirements of Section C408 of the 2016 New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code (2015 IECC as modified by the 2016 New York State Supplement).
Commissioned systems included condensing boilers and pumps, hot water pumps, roof top units, heat recovery units, makeup air units, hydronic and electric unit heaters, cabinet unit heaters, exhaust fans, and split A/C units.
Lancaster Central School District – 77P1 & 77P2 2018 Renovations Middle School
Beginning in 2020, our firm provided commissioning services for Phase 77P1 & 77P2 as part of the $77.1 million 2018 Capital Improvements Project. Improvements to the middle school include historic renovations, improvements to the Auditorium, library renovations, lighting replacement, and plumbing system improvements.
Commissioning was provided for construction through warranty to meet the requirements of Section C408 of the 2016 New York State Energy Conservation Construction Code (2015 IECC as modified by the 2016 New York State Supplement).
