State University Construction Fund Commissioning
The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is a public benefit corporation that provides academic buildings, dormitories and other facilities for the State-operated institutions and contract and statutory colleges under jurisdiction of the State University. The SUCF utilizes consultants to provide design and consulting services for SUNY’s 34 State-operated campuses and also provides construction oversight of capital projects.
Since 2003, C.J. Brown Energy has provided commissioning services for SUCF on more than 25 new construction and major renovation projects at 15+ campus locations. Projects have totaled over $550 million in construction costs. We have completed projects under term contracts, awarded through competitive solicitations by individual SUNY schools, and through the architect.
Our commissioning services are provided to meet SUCF directives, which include the systems to be commissioned, scope of work for LEED and New York State Energy Conservation Code commissioning, and deliverables.
